What’s the difference between MCT (medium chain triglycerides) oil and exogenous ketones?

MCT oil is not ketones. It’s more like a precursor to ketones and can help your body go into ketosis faster, BUT they will not induce a state of ketosis on their own. They are great to use for fasted workouts and carb-restriction to jumpstart ketosis but they need to be taken away from carbs or their effects will be… nada.
